  4. Select an array and switch to Table to see its items as rows you can filter and sort.

Example

JSON
{
  "user": {
    "name": "Ada",
    "roles": ["admin", "editor"]
  }
}
Paths you can copy from the tree
user
user.name          → "Ada"
user.roles         → [ 2 items ]

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a deeply nested value?

Type part of the key, value or path into the search bar above the tree. Matching nodes are expanded and highlighted.

How do I get the path to a field?

Hover the node in the tree and click the path icon. The path, for example user.roles[0], is copied to your clipboard.

Can I view a JSON array as a table?

Yes. Select the array in the tree and open the Table tab. Columns are built from all keys found in the items.

Is the viewer free?

Yes. It is free to use, needs no account, and your JSON never leaves your browser.
